GWAE hosts a number of events during the AeroAstro Graduate Program Open House each year in the Spring for newly admitted graduate students.

• New Women Admit Dinner – For newly admitted and current graduate women to socialize over a formal dinner setting
• Tea Time – Casual snacks and conversation
• One-on-One with Current Students – GWAE will reimburse the cost of breakfast/lunch/coffee for new women admits to chat with current students in their labs of interest
• Hosting – In 2018, GWAE and GA³ worked to match admits with current student hosts to reduce the cost and/or stress of attending the Open House. Since this piloted in 2018, we would greatly appreciate feedback; if you have feedback or ideas, let us know at gwae-exec@mit.edu.
